The Dillinger Escape Plan’s tour bus has been involved in a serious road accident, injuring 13 people.
Carrying the heavy metal group and crew, the tour bus was rammed by a lorry near the town of Radomsko, a representative confirms. Following the accident, the New York five-piece were forced to pull out of their Sunday night concert in nearby Krakow, Poland.
Band members were hospitalised but were not badly injured. The lorry driver was seriously injured. The bus was said to be parked partly on the road and partly on the hard shoulder when the crash happened.
The band formed in 1997, announced in August 2016 that they were to split, with their sixth and final album ‘Disassociation’ set for release in October 2017.
The Dillinger Escape Plan are currently touring Europe, with their next scheduled date being Leipzig, Germany on Tuesday.
